ABOUT ME
I'm a third year BFA Design, Technology, and Management student at Texas Tech University with a concentration in stage management. I’m a member of the United States Institute of Theatre Technology (USITT) and serve as my student organization’s treasurer. I’m also a member of the Stage Managers Association. I am honored to have received several awards from Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF):
Excellence in Stage Management- "The Secretaries"
Excellence in Stage Management- "The Wolves"
Excellence in Dance Stage Management- Fall Dance Festival 2023
My persistent curiosity is what drew me to technical theatre from a young age. I wanted to know how it happened; what made everything work. Before coming to university, I worked at Champion Theatre in Boerne, TX. This gave me the opportunity to work on numerous different productions in every field I could. I realized that my love for organized chaos and constant change was a perfect fit for assistant stage managing, and I found my true passion there.
Outside of the theatre I enjoy hiking, travel, building models, and reading. I’m a big fan of NASA and everything space- I take any opportunity I can to learn about something I don’t know, and love being pushed out of my comfort zone.
